特徴

• Autosomal dominant Alzheimer’s disease is caused by mutations in the gene encoding the beta-amyloid protein precursor (APP).
• Amyloid beta-peptide(Abeta), the major feature of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s patients, is the product of APP cleavage by beta- and y-secretases.
• BACE is the transmembrane protease which cleaves Abeta from APP.
• BACE and the related protein Asp1 are both widely expressed in human tissue with the highest levels in the pancreas.
• BACE has a molecular mass of ~70 kDa, larger than predicted due to glycosylation, and is localized within Golgi and endosomes.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
