Annexin family members have been implicated as regulators of such diverse processes as ion flux, endocytosis, exocytosis and cellular adhesion.
Annexin III, also known as ANXA3, Annexin A3, Lipocortin III, PAP-III (placental anticoagulant protein III), 35-alpha calcimedin or ANX3, belongs to the Annexin family and contains four Annexin repeats.
Annexin III exhibits a variety of functions, including anti-coagulent properties, an inhibitory role towards phospholipase A2 (PLA2) and an enzymatic function, cleaving the cyclic bond of inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate to produce inositol 1-phosphate.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
