• Additionally, ARH1 isthought to function as a tumorsuppressorwhose expression is greatlyreduced in follicular thyroid cancer.
• Human ARH1 shares 83% identitywith its rat counterpart,suggesting a conserved role between species.
• The gene encoding ARH1mapsto human chromosome 3, which houses over 1,100 genes, including a chemokine receptor (CKR) gene cluster and a variety of human cancer-related gene loci.
