特徴
- Rubella virus was first isolated in 1962 by Parkman and Weller.
- Rubella virus is classified as a togavirus, genus Rubivirus.
- It is most closely related to group A arboviruses, such as Eastern and Western Equine Encephalitis viruses.
- It is an enveloped RNA virus, with a single antigenic type that does not cross react with other members of the togavirus group.
- Rubella virus is relatively unstable and is inactivated by lipid solvents, trypsin, formalin, ultraviolet light, low pH, heat, and amantadine.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and hemagglutination inhibition.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C before opening.
- DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
- Dilute only prior to immediate use.
- Stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
- Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
