Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum.
After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared.
The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to conjugated to N- hydroxysuccinimide (NHS)-activated agarose beads.
Beads were washed extensively after the blocking of the residual NHS sites.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Specific Activity:1.1mg rabbit IgG bound/ml agarose.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C.
Do not freeze.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
Note: We do not recommended adding glycerol as a cryopreservative.
