Whole IgG antibodies are isolated as intact molecules from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography.
They have an Fc portion and two antigen binding Fab portions joined together by disulfide bonds and therefore they are divalent.
The average molecular weight is reported to be about 160kD.
The whole IgG form of antibodies is suitable for the majority of immunodetection procedures and is the most cost effective.

Source Antibody:sheep
Grade:Affinity Purified
Purity:Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 0.01M Sodium Borate-Sodium Phosphate, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH 8.5, 15mg/ml BSA (IgG-Free, Protease-Free), 0.05% sodium azide. Reconstitute with ddH2O.
Specificity:Recognizes whole molecule sheep IgG. Reacts with the light chains of other sheep immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Minimal cross-reactivity with chicken, guinea pig, syrian hamster, equine, human, mouse, rabbit and rat serum proteins, but it may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
