Neurofilaments usually contain three intermediate filament proteins: L, M, and H which are involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber.
NF-H has an important function in mature axons that is not subserved by the two smaller NF proteins.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:5000-1:10,000Immunocytochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
