In the presence of calcium ions, Surfactant Protein A binds to surfactant phospholipids to lower the surface tension at the air-liquid interface in the alveoli of the mammalian lung and is essential for normal respiration (Ref: SWISSPROT).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
