特徴

• STAT3 belongs to the STAT (signal transducers and activators of transcription) family of proteins.
• STAT proteins undergo tyrosine/serine phosphorylation in response to cytokines and growth factors.
• Phosphorylated STAT3 forms a homodimer or heterodimer with related family members such as STAT1.
• Phosphorylated STAT proteins are translocated to the nucleus where they act as transcription factors.
• STAT3 is expressed in heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas tissues.  Alternative splicing of the STAT3 gene gives rise to 2 isoforms.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 1-2ug/ml.
• Antigen retrieval required.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
