特徴
- STAT1 belongs to the STAT (signal transducers and activators of transcription) family of proteins.
- STAT proteins undergo tyrosine/serine phosphorylation in response to cytokines and growth factors.
- As a result of this phosphorylation, STAT proteins form dimers and are translocated to the nucleus where they act as transcription factors.
- Alternative splicing of the STAT1 gene gives rise to the STAT1 alpha and beta isoforms.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 1-2ug/ml.
- Antigen retrieval required.
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
