- Somatostatin is secreted by neuroendocrine neurons in hypothalamus and interacts with somatostatin receptors inhibiting secretion of somatotropin.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 5-15ug/mlImmunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml.
- (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues, 4% paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissues)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
- Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
- Reconstitute with PBS.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
