• Enolase is a metalloenzyme that catayzes the reaction between 2-phospho-D-glycerate and phosphoenolpyruvate during glycolysis.
• Mammalian enolase is composed of 3 subunits; alpha, beta and gamma (Neuron-specific enolase).
• These subunits can form homodimers or heterodimers.
• The alpha/gamma heterodimer and the gamma/gamma homodimer are found primarily in neurons.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000Immunocytochemistry: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
