• Interleukin 8 (IL-8) is a chemotactic factor that attracts neutrophils, basophils, and T-cells, but not monocytes.
• It is also involved in neutrophil activation.
• It is released from several cell types in response to an inflammatory stimulus (Ref: SWISSPROT).
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 1ug/ml.
• Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
