• H2AX belongs to the histone H2A family.
• The four core histones involved in the formation of the nucleosome structure of compacted chromatin are H2A, H2B, H3, and H4.
• H2AX is phosphorylated on Ser-140 to form gamma-H2AX in response to DNA double-strand breaks.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Flow Cytometry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000Flow Cytometry: 2ug/10e6 cellsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
