特徴

• Cyclooxygenase (COX) is an important enzyme in the conversion of arachidonic acid to Prostaglandin H2, the precursor of the series-2 prostanoids.
• 3 splice variants have been found (COX-1, COX-2 and COX-3).
• COX-1 is constitutively expressed in most cell types and is induced as part of the inflammatory response by cytokines as well as by growth factors such as EGF and PDGF.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 0.5-1ug/ml.
• Heat mediated antigen retrieval is reccommended.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
