- Activating Transcription Factor 6 (ATF6) is a single-pass type II membrane protein.
- A function of ATF6 is to activate unfolded protein response target genes during endoplasmic reticulum stress.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 0.5-1ug/ml.
- Heat mediated antigen retrieval is reccommended.
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
- Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
- Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
