- Neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) are made up of paired helical filaments and are a feature of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
- Recognizes NFT and degenerating plaque neurites in cases of AD, Down's Syndrome and normal aged individuals.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immmunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin, does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections.
- Also does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Recommended IHC Positive Control Tissue:Alzheimer disease brain
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
