CD284 acts as a receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS) in co-operation with CD14 and MD2 (LY96), resulting in the activation of the MyD88-dependent and MyD88-independent (TRIF- dependent) signalling pathways and the production of inflammatory cytokines.
LPS-activated CD284 can also induce dendritic cell maturation via TRIF-dependent signaling.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (Parafffin): 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
