Specifically recognizes human AID (Activationinduced cytidine deaminase), a 24kD RNAediting enzyme essential for the initiation of immunoglobulin class switch recombination (CSR), somatic hypermutation (SHM) and gene conversion (GC).
Studies suggest that AID is selectively expressed by germinal centre (GC) B cells and B cellderived lymphomas, and that a deficiency in AID is responsible for the autosomal recessive form of the immunodeficient condition HyperIgM syndrome.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
