特徴

• Heat shock protein (HSP) 27 is one of the small HSPs that are constitutively expressed at different levels in various cell types and tissues.
• Like other small heat shock proteins, HSPB1 is regulated at both the transcriptional and posttranslational levels (1).
• In response to stress, the expression level of HSPB1 increases several-fold to confer cellular resistance to the adverse environmental change.
• HSPB1 is phosphorylated at Ser15, Ser78 and Ser82 by MAPKAP kinase 2 as a result of the activation of the p38 MAP kinase pathway (2,3).
• Phosphorylation of HSPB1 causes a change in its tertiary structure, which shifts from large homotypic multimers to dimers and monomers (4).
• It has been shown that phosphorylation and increased concentration of HSPB1 modulates actin polymerization and reorganization (5,6).
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunofluorescence: 1:20-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
