Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (g proteins) are involved as a modulator or transducer in various transmembrane signaling systems, by integrating signals between receptors and effector proteins.
G proteins are composed of an alpha, a beta, and a gamma subunit.
This gene encodes a 34kD beta subunit, being expressed in all tissues.
Beta subunits are important regulators of alpha subunits, as well as of certain signal transduction receptors and effectors.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
