特徴
- CD14 is a glycophosphatidylinositol-anchored protein expressed on the surfaces of monocytes and plymorphonuclear leukocytes.
- It acts as a co-receptor for the detection of bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (1).
- CD14 cooperates with MD-2 and TLR4 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial LPS.
- It acts via MyD88, TIRAP and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response (2).
- CD14 is expressed strongly on peripheral blood monocytes and macrophages, and weakly on the surface of granulocytes (1).
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
