• bFGF (FGF-2) is a member of a family of seven peptides that are potent regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation and function.
• bFGF stimulates the proliferation of cells of mesodermal origin and many cells of endodermal, ectodermal and neuroectodermal origin.
• bFGF also induces neuron differentiation, survival and regeneration and stimulates astrocyte migration.
• bFGF may also be involved in the production of a variety of pathological conditions arising from excessive cell proliferation.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization.
• Other applications not tesed.
• Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: >0.5ug/ml 100ul/well Allows detection of 0.2–0.4ng/well
• Western Blot: 0.1–0.2ug/m Detection limit is 1.5–3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
• Neutralization: 0.46-0.9ug/ml
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C before opening.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only prior to immediate use.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
