• Endostatin is a naturally occurring 20kD polypeptide derived from the C-terminal portion of type XVIII collagen.
• It functions as an anti-angiogenic cytokine that is expressed in various organs with the highest levels in liver, lung and kidney.
• Endostatin inhibits angiogenesis by blocking the pro-angiogenic activities of VEGF and FGF-basic.
• Recombinant human Endostatin is a 20.2kD protein consisting 184aa residues.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C before opening.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only prior to immediate use.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
