IgG autoantibodies against deposited C3 inhibit macrophage-mediated apoptotic cell engulfment in systemic autoimmunity.
Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system.
Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways.
People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2009].
Applications:Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Peptide ELISA: 1:128,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after reciept.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
