Cdk10 (cell division protein kinase 10), otherwise known as PISSLRE, a Cdc2related kinase and member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein.
kinase family, essential for cell cycle progression, in the G2M phase.
Studies have shown that Cdk10 can control the development of tamoxifen resistance in hormone sensitive breast cancer, and is therefore an important determinant of patient resistance to endocrine therapies.
