PAK6, a PAK (STE20) type protein kinase, contains a N-terminal Cdc42/Rac interactive binding (CRIB) motif and a C-terminal kinase domain.
The protein has been shown to bind to GTP-Cdc42 and GTP-Rac; however, in contrast to most PAKs, kinase activity was not stimulated by Cdc42 or Rac, but could be stimulated by androgen receptor (AR) binding.
PAK6 protein also has been shown to bind to estrogen receptor alpha.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
