The oxytocin receptor belongs to the vasopressin/oxytocin family of GPCRs because it binds similar cyclic nonapeptide hormones.
The oxytocin receptor functions primarily during labor and lactation.
There is a dramatic increase in the number of oxytocin receptors just before the onset of labor causing the uterine muscles to become exceedingly sensitive to oxytocin.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
