Melanocortin 4 receptor (MC4R), a Melanocortin Receptor, has been shown to affect food intake and energy balance.
Recently MC4R has been shown to modulate erectile function and sexual behavior (Van Der Ploeg et al.
2002).
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 4-8ug/mlImmunocytochemistry: 7.5-10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
