BLT1 is a Chemoattractant Receptor that binds the potent chemoattractant leukotriene B4 (LTB4) which is involved in defense against infection.
Leukotriene B4 also activates the transcription factor PPAR alpha, resulting in the activation of genes that terminate inflammatory processes (Yokomizo et al., 1997).
Although BLT1 shows homology to other P2Y receptors, it does not function as a purinoreceptor ( Yokomizo et al., 1997).
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 20ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap
