Very Large G Protein-Coupled Receptor-1 (VLGR1) is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand.
VLGR1 consists of three expressed isoforms.
VLGR1 has a large ectodomain containing multiple CALX-beta repeats that resemble regulatory domains of sodium-calcium exchanger proteins.
VLGR1b, which is the only form expressed in mouse, is apparently the largest known cell-surface protein with an ectodomain containing 35 CALX- repeats and a pentraxin homology domain.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 4-9ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
