OGR1, a Lysophospholipid/Lysosphingolipid Receptor, was isolated by degenerate PCR from an ovarian cell line cDNA library.
It is not expressed in normal ovary.
OGR1 binds sphingosylphosporylcholine, a lipid molecule involved in cell growth and survival.
Recently, OGR1 has been shown to act as a proton-sensing receptor stimulating inositol phosphate formation
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5-7.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
