Protein A is an Orphan-U GPCR with an unknown ligand.
This gene was identified from genomic analysis of a gene-dense region at human chromosome 12p13.
It appears to be expressed mainly in the brain.
However, its function is not known.
Three alternatively spliced variants have been described; the full length of the third variant is yet to be determined.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 7ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
