- It is classified as an 5-HT1-like receptor because of its ligand-binding and effector-coupling characteristics.
- The human 5-HT1E receptor has been studied in an African green monkey kidney cell line, in which it modulated cAMP levels upon binding serotonin.
- Lack of structural variants in the human gene indicate a highly conserved protein.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.

- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
