5-HT1B (5-HT1D beta), a Serotonin Receptor, inhibits neurotransmitter release from neuronal terminals.
Knockout mutant mice lacking this receptor exhibit decreased anxiety, increased aggression, and augmented alcohol and cocaine consumption compared to controls.
5-HT1B receptors have been found to control areas of the human brain involved in migraine pain, bipolar disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
