- Werner's syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by premature aging.
- Werner helicase interacting protein 1(WHIP) interacts with the N-terminal portion of Werner protein, which contains an exonuclease domain.
- This protein shows homology to replication factor C family proteins, and is conserved from E.
- coli to human.
- Studies in yeast suggest that this gene product may influence the aging process.
- A second isoform exists (WHIP2).
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:10,000-1:40,000Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
