MAGP-2 (also known as Microfibril-associated glycoprotein 2, MFAP-2, MP25 and Microfibrillar-associated protein 5 precursor) is a secreted, extracellular matrix protein which is a component of the elastin-associated microfibrils.
It forms intermolecular disulfide bonds either with other MAGP-2 molecules or with other components of the microfibrils.
MAGP-2 is upregulated in some ovarian cancers and is associated with poor survival of ovarian cancer patients.
