Signals through PLCB2 and the calcium-regulated cation channel TRPM5.
In airway epithelial cells, binding of denatonium increases the intracellular calcium ion concentration and stimulates ciliary beat frequency.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
