• Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κ B (RANK), also known as TRANCE Receptor, is a type I membrane protein that is expressed on the surface of osteoclasts and is involved in their activation upon ligand binding.
• RANK is also expressed on dendritic cells and facilitates immune signaling.RANKL (Receptor Activator for Nuclear Factor κ B Ligand) is found on the surface of stromal cells, osteoblasts, and T cells.
• By analysis of somatic cell and radiation hybrid panels, Anderson et al.
• (1997) mapped the RANK gene to 18q22.1.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 0.5-1.0ug/ml.
• Heat induced antigen retrieval with 10mM sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 20 minutes is recommended.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
