• The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the LAR protein-tyrosine phosphatase-interacting protein (liprin) family.
• Liprins interact with members of LAR family of transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatases, which are known to be important for axon guidance and mammary gland development.
• This protein binds to the intracellular membrane-distal phosphatase domain of tyrosine phosphatase LAR, and appears to localize LAR to cell focal adhesions.
• This interaction may regulate the disassembly of focal adhesion and thus help orchestrate cell-matrix interactions.
• Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.

• Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-500
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
