特徴

• This gene encodes proteins related to the first discovered blood group system, ABO.
• Which allele is present in an individual determines the blood group.
• The 'O' blood group is caused by a deletion of guanine-258 near the N-terminus of the protein which results in a frameshift and translation of an almost entirely different protein.
• Individuals with the A, B, and AB alleles express glycosyltransferase activities that convert the H antigen into the A or B antigen.
• Other minor alleles have been found for this gene.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
• Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-500
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
