This protein is a member of the cytidine deaminase gene family.
It is one of seven related genes or pseudogenes found in a cluster, thought to result from gene duplication, on chromosome 22.
Members of the cluster encode proteins that are structurally and functionally related to the C to U RNA-editing cytidine deaminase APOBEC1.
It is thought that the proteins may be RNA editing enzymes and have roles in growth or cell cycle control.
Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other potential application, though not tested is Direct Flow Cytometry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissues Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
