This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the microtubule-associated protein family.
The proteins of this family are thought to be involved in microtubule assembly, which is an essential step in neurogenesis.
The exact function of this gene is still unknown.
The products of similar genes in rat and mouse are neuron-specific cytoskeletal proteins that are enriched in dentrites, implicating a role in determining and stabilizing dentritic shape during neuron development.
Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
