Proline-serine-threonine Phosphatase-interacting Protein 1 (PSTPIP1) binds to the cytoplasmic tail of CD2, an effector of T cell activation and adhesion, negatively affecting CD2-triggered T cell activation.
PSTPIP1 appears to be a scaffold protein and a regulator of the actin cytoskeleton.
It has also been shown to bind ABL1, PTPN18, WAS, CD2AP, and PTPN12.
Mutations in the gene encoding this protein are a cause of PAPA syndrome.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry (Not Tested) and ELISA.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
