• Bradykinin, a 9aa peptide, is generated in pathophysiologic conditions such as inflammation, trauma, burns, shock, and allergy.
• Two types of G-protein coupled receptors have been found which bind bradykinin and mediate responses to these pathophysiologic conditions.
• BDKRB1 is one of these receptors and is synthesized de novo following tissue injury.
• Receptor binding leads to an increase in the cytosolic calcium ion concentration, ultimately resulting in chronic and acute inflammatory responses.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other potential application, though not tested is Direct Flow Cytometry.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
