Annexin VII is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins.The Annexin VII gene contains 14 exons and spans approximately 34kb of DNA.
An alternatively spliced cassette exon results in two mRNA transcripts of 2.0 and 2.4kb which are predicted to generate two protein isoforms differing in their N-terminal domain.
ANXA7 is a protein with a molecular weight of approximately 51kD with a unique, highly hydrophobic N-terminal domain of 167aa and a conserved C-terminal region of 299aa.
The latter domain is composed of alternating hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments.
Structural analysis of the protein suggests that Annexin VII is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties, including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity and membrane fusion.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry (Not Tested), Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1,000Flow Cytometry (Not Tested): 1:10-1:50Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Western Blot: 1:100-1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
