- Promotes VEGF-dependent neovascularization (By similarity).
- Contributes to phagocytic removal of apoptotic cells in many tissues.
- Specific ligand for the alpha-v/beta-3 and alpha-v/beta-5 receptors.
- Also binds to phosphatidylserine-enriched cell surfaces in a receptor-independent manner.
- Zona pellucida-binding protein which may play a role in gamete interaction.
- Binds specifically to rotavirus and inhibits its replication.
- Medin is the main constituent of aortic medial amyloid.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications have not been tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C.
- DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
- Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
