特徴
- Glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) is a multi-pass membrane protein.
- It is a member of the family of glucose transporters that facilitate glucose uptake by cells.
- GLUT4 is sequestered within cells not stimulated by insulin.
- After insulin stimulation, it is translocated to the cell surface where it transports glucose across the cell membrane.
- GLUT4 is found in skeletal and heart muscles and in adipose tissue.
- It is highly conserved between species.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry(FFPE): 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
- Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
