特徴
- Native human C9 is a naturally glycosylated protein composed of a single polypeptide chain.
- The molecular weight is 71kD.
- C9 binds to the C5b-8 complex and forms the mature membrane attack complex (MAC) on cell membranes.
- Each pathway of complement activation generates proteolytic enzyme complexes (C3/C5 convertases) which are bound to the target surface .
- These enzymes cleave a peptide bond in the larger alpha chain of C5 releasing the anaphylatoxin C5a and activating C5b.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunodiffusion.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:32,000-1:64,000Western Blot: 1:16,000-1:32,000Immunodiffusion: 1:8Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
