Myc gene encodes a transcription factor that is believed to regulate expression of 15% of all genes through binding of Enhancer Box sequences (E-boxes) and recruiting histone acetyltransferases (HATs).
This means that in addition to its role as a classical transcription factor, Myc also functions to regulate global chromatin structure.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:400Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
